FUNDRAISER FOR JOSEPH TOWNSEND

Joseph Townsend is a local 10 year old 5th grader at Lord Baltimore Elementary. On November 3rd he went in for a routine eye exam where they discovered a swollen optic nerve which was caused by a golf ball sized tumor. He was immediately transfered to Johns Hopkins where within 24 hours of the eye exam he was in surgery. The family has been back and forth to Baltimore taking care of Joseph who is still in Johns Hopkins. As therapy continues for Joseph over the next couple weeks, the entire family hopes to be back together very soon! Joseph's father, Sgt. Ronnie Townsend was born and raised in this community and has been with the Ocean City Police Department for over 25 years. In our generous, close-knit town we live in let's show our support!
