Funding Raquel Salinas' Memorial

We miss and honor our dear friend and colleague, Raquel Salinas, who passed away on April 23rd, 2018.

A small group of Raquel's many fans at Evergreen have been working to arrange for her memorial on Thursday, June 7th at the Longhouse.  We are lovingly calling it, "Raquelapalooza", because we know that Raquel would want a celebration that is loving, heartfelt, and silly. 

UPDATE June 5th: We have now raised the full cost of the memorial--THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all who donated!  

For that reason, we have deactivated this gofundme site, but you are still welcome to contribute to the scholarship fund that we are establishing in Raquel's name.  You will find the link on this page: http://www.evergreen.edu/give/scholarships.  (It should be set up by or close to June 7th.)  

You can also contribute cash donations before or at the event.

Please spread the word about the celebration, Thursday June 7th from 3-6ishpm (4pm program) at the Longhouse on Evergreen's campus.
