Funding Desk Chair For Disabled User

Hi all. I’m Lily, and I need a desk chair. I have cerebral palsy as well as a chronic pain condition known as fibromyalgia. Because of this, I am in need of an office chair that is ergonomic and provides enough support so that pain is minimised.

Unfortunately the chair I borrowed from my dad causes such bad pain in my back and hips that I can’t use it.

I need a desk chair of my own. One that isn’t huge and gives my disabled body as much support as possible. The one below and at the link by Secret Lab fits the bill.



It’s not cheap. £279. But I need a chair that’ll help my chronic pain. This one in particular is sized for shorter people like me, which is a huge bonus when most office chairs aren’t made for different heights and are too big for me (I’m 5ft3). It also comes with vital lumbar and neck support cushioning, which I sorely need.
