Saving little Scarlett

Little Scarlett was found crying and trapped unable to move after being hit by a car. Her leg was badly infected, and covered with maggots which were feeding on her injury. By the time she was found, she was already very weak and on the verge of death. She was immediately brought to vet, who at first determined she needed an amputation. However, upon her follow up it seemed that her leg could still be saved. She had two pins put in and was placed in a cast. She is receiving laser treatment to help with healing. She still needs to have dressings changed twice a day and is still vulnerable to infection. She is the cutest, sweetest thing and deserves a chance at a happy life. Thankfully she has great volunteers to help her during this difficult time. However, she still has a long road ahead of her and the costs were put on a credit card.
