FUND TO FIGHT HATE! PLZ SHARE

Hi my name is Carmen Vito Basile and my girlfriend is Guadalupe Lopez. We are seeking help with legal fees regarding an attack that took place against both of us in our own home that we are facing legal ramifications for. On Saturday March 31st 2018 we had a family member over who we thought we were going to spend Easter with. As it turns out he could not accept my girlfriend being transgender and attacked us both in our own home. He stood there a yelled at her that she was trash,the devil kept referring to her as my boyfriend and sail that I need to get her out of my life and find God. We both tried pushing him out of our house and continued to tell him to leave. Witch he would not do so my girlfriend grabbed a bb gun that I had bought for one of my twin sons a week prior for his birthday and he had got into his vehicle and left. Only to turn out that he did not leave my property. He had drove to a spot that was out of sight from our home. We had found this out when we went to lock our gate and found him and his girlfriend going into the garage witch is not connected to our house as we have a few acres of land. So we went back to go to our house where we could lock the doors and stay clear from them both just to find that he had ran around us and was on the second floor of our house. Guadalupe then continued to point the air rifle at him and com and him to leave. In witch he replied what are you going to do with a bb gun and tried to take it from her. As they were battling over the air rifle I grabbed a decorative sword I had hanging on my wall. When he noticed what I was doing he let go of the air rifle and came after me to try and get the sword out of my hand and my girlfriend hit him in the head with the air rifle. And during the altercation between himself and I the tip of the sword went into him causing injury witch we were unaware of at the time. He then finally proceeded to actually leave. Probaly because he was injured. We locked all of our doors and tried to locate our phones to call the police but mine had been run over when he left and could not find hers and was turned off. We also could not find the keys to our car to make any type of report witch he may have taken. So knowing we would be stranded and scared we just locked our doors and kept a close watch on our yard and driveway. And eventually fell asleep. Later on around the sherriffs dept came in full swat gear with a warrant to search my house. The police took all evedince needed and our account of what had happened, informed us that he had a puncture wound in his chest that was 3cm in his ribs. And released us. We thought they released us being in means of self defense but that was not the case. The next day they returned with a warrant for both of our arrest and charged us with agrivated adult with a deadly weapon resulting in great bodily harm. And are both now facing up to 6 years in prison. We live in a very small town where Guadalupe is the only transgender. Witch most people really respect her but others really look down on us both. Neither one of us have any means to hire a lawyer as they want more money then we even make in a year. We are both really scared of the charges as well as being scared for our lives and/or damage to our property. It really makes it hard to sleep at night. We despite need as much help as we can get.
