Fund raising for RJAH

In June 2018 my brother, John, decided to go for a short ride on his motorbike. He left his house at around 12 noon and has not been home since.
About an hour after leaving home John was involved in a collision with a van carrying out an illegal move on a single carriageway. The driver of the van has since been charged in relation to the accident.
The incident resulted in John sustaining serious, life changing injuries, including 13 broken ribs, broken left scapula, broken left clavicle, shattered left hip, 2 fractures to the spine and many more minor injuries.
John also had to be revived at the scene and had lost a lot of blood. The staff from the HDU at the Hospital were unsure as to whether he would see the night out. But, after months in HDU, further time spent in Trauma and a further 3 months in recovery John was transferred to The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry.
John has been in hospital for 10 months now and has been unable to walk or even sit up unaided in all this time. His left side and spine are almost unusable due to months of "bed rest". During his time in Oswestry the dedication and commitment of the staff has been fantastic. They are determined to give him back as much mobility as possible.
Our aim is to raise funds for the hospital's charity to enable them to carry on the good work they do. See link below.

To raise funds my brother-in-law (Dave Todd) and I are attempting to visit 8 European countries in 7 days as part of the Fireball Rally. We are attempting to do this in a 16 year old car that cost less than £700. Details can be found

Our team name is Double D's (our initials, not because we are a massive pair of tits!)
100% of money raised will go to the charity and will not be used to fund the Rally.
