Through a long, lingering illness, her husband had to be by her side to take care of her and once in the hospital to sign papers giving the medical staff permission for various procedures. Consequently he has not been able to work. This Filipino family needs financial help to meet some pressing current expenses, funeral costs and the pay for Carmel‘s mother to come to America from the Philippines. Carmel was her only child.
