Fun Bus to Hell No Sugar Challenge

If you have pledged a monetary donation to your no sugar challenge, stick to it!  This is a win-win folks, money commits people.  You decide what your pledge will be and then post it!  My suggestion is a buy-in donation to start the challenge and then a monetary pledge of your choosing for every time you mess up.  At the end of the 30 days, the money raised from the Fun Bus will go toward providing Christmas for local families from my children's elementary school.  I thought about a few charities that we could donate to and decided a few things:

1) Crowdfunding already takes a percentage.  It's 5% but there is no way around it and no better way for me to collect funds from people across the country.  
2) Most charities also take out a percentage to run their charity.  I figure that with this model, only a fraction of your dollars would actually go to helping the real person needing help by the time we pay GoFundMe and the charity.  For this reason, I've decided to use the funds directly for families in need in my community.  It maximizes our money.  I have done the Christmas charity in years past.  I have already talked to the principal and my children's elementary school to let him know what we are doing and he is grateful and thrilled to provide some families in need.  It is my pledge that 100% of the funds raised from this project will go directly to the families in need.  I will be posting pics and updates during Christmas time so we can all appreciate the positive outcomes of helping others.
