Full Moon Farm is an organization dedicated to the well being of the wolfdog (wolf hybrid). Situated on 17 beautiful mountain acres in Black Mountain, NC, we operate as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization for abused and refused wolfdogs who find themselves in need of love, shelter, and care through no fault of their own.

Full Moon Farm provides a safe haven for animals that cannot be placed into homes for the rest of their lives.  Our rescued wolfdogs come from animal control agencies, closed breeding situations and occasionally, an owner in crisis.  We evaluate each animal upon intake and work with them at their level of comfort.  Some animals are "hands off" and we respect their choice, as well as that of the animals that crave human interaction.  Our goal is to enrich the lives of the residents, allowing them to reach their highest potential.  Your support by donation or sponsorship makes our task possible.

Though they may be abused or neglected, homeless because of death or divorce, they are all God's Creatures and worthy of a lifetime of respect. We are here to serve them.

A breakdown of how your generous donations will help Full Moon Farm:

1.) Veterinarian Expenses - $1500.
2.) Much needed Gravel for the driveway - $1000.
3.) Lumber for new shelters - $3000.
5.) Replace rusty old fencing - $2500.
6.) Backhoe attachment for tractor - $4000.
7.) General operating expenses - $3000.

We are on our way, and we are singing Joyous Howlz!

Good afternoon!

We really could use some help today and every day.

Storm damage and driveway repair fundraising efforts were short more than $1,000. :-(

A total of seven animals needed vet care and our senior population needed medications, so our veterinarian bill is climbing again, $2,500+.

The truck needed new tires and front end work, at an expense of more than $1,000. (It has 266,000 miles!)

The Mini Van is in the shop now needing more than $1,800 in repairs to the rack and pinion steering, the shifting mechanism and new tires. This is not in our budget or reserves, so it is not able to be driven currently. (It has 103,000 miles.)

The big van will need tires before the snows start. (It has 260,000 miles!)

Since we are an all volunteer organization, we do not have dedicated 'fund raising' personnel, nor do we engage professional fund raising companies.

We are open to ideas on how to get vehicles donated, vehicle repairs donated, dog food donated, a tractor donated, grants and increased funding. Please contact us.

If you can help today, please click to donate! If you can't please share.

The 60 residents Thank You!

Today is my BIRTHDAY! Yep, my last year in my 50's!

I would love some help - We need WATER for WOOFERS! - The cistern and pipes are leaking, (50 years old!) and we cannot keep enough water to get the job done in a timely fashion! (Watering by headlight to let the spring catch up.) If we can raise $10k, we can put in a well and our water woes would be over.

Today, you can donate $5.00, $9.00, $59.00, $590.00 or even $5900.00 to celebrate my birthday! Every little bit helps, and as always, I am humbled and honored by each of you. *Namaste*
Much love to my Facebook Family!

Happy Sunday! As we welcome the late summer rains, we are acutely aware of the need of gravel and grading to our ailing driveway. We have matching funds for a tractor, and a load of gravel awaiting your generosity.

Please, help ROCK our WORLD! From $5.00 to $500.00, it will be doubled and help get us moving again!

HELP!!! We have had a freezer go down! It was actually an old refrigerator that the thermostat was whacked, so we used it as a freezer/fridge. We need to replace it. Options are a 20.2 cu ft freezer and/or a 17 cu ft 'convertible' freezer/fridge! We can get a credit from Duke Power to replace it/them. Will you help or food bank donations go a lot farther? Arrooooo! Thank you all in advance~!~ Hugz Too!
