Let's Keep Catching Fugitives!

Fugitive Watch is a reality-based television show, newspaper, and website that was founded in 1992 by two bay area police officers, Steve Ferdin and Scott Castruita. It features exciting stories on crimes and fugitives. Fugitive Watch has been credited with over 2,500 captures or solving of crimes. It has successfully combined law enforcement, local business and the community into an effective crime-fighting tool.

As one law enforcement official stated, “Because of Fugitive Watch, there are thousands of more sets of eyes on the lookout for fugitives”. Fugitive Watch has been featured on all the local news programs, newspapers and in nationally televised programs like World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, Inside Edition and Unsolved Mysteries. It has also been endorsed and commended by California Governor Pete Wilson, the FBI and the entire bay area chiefs of police and sheriffs.

And now we need your help to continue keeping our communities safe! The way we keep our operation running is through donations from people like you who believe in our cause and want to keep their loved ones safe from wanted fugitives. Due to increased production and maintenance costs, we have had to cut back and are not able to reach our maximum potential. With your help, we will be able to:

1. Keeping Fugitive Watch up and running (current operation costs)

2. Hire staff to help us "work" the hundreds of daily tips we receive via email and phone calls with follow ups with law enforcement

3. Bring back our podcasts to increase exposure to audiences outside of Facebook and our website

4. Expand our reach to serve even more communities within the US and internationally

5. Train people to continue our work for many years to come

6. Establish a home base operation center for our staff members to collaborate with one another to locate more fugitives

7. Time required to validate warrants for arrest

8. Maintaining production equipment

9. Maintaining the website through our web designer and servers

10. Having multiple phone lines due to a large call volume and having the personnel to handle these tip lines

If you believe in what we are doing please donate what you can and share our campaign with your friends and family! No contribution is too small! We really appreciate your support! Let's show all these fugitives they can run, but they can’t hide!!
