Help RoboRaiders Travel to the World Championship

Donation protected
FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge ) Team 6567 RoboRaiders from Red Hook High School in Red Hook, NY, USA is proud to have had the best season in our team's history this year.  On Sunday, February 10th, 2019 we won the First Place Inspire Award (Best Overall Team) at the FTC Hudson Valley Championship Tournament, held at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.  We are incredibly proud and thankful to the judges at Pace University for selecting our team to receive this honor.  This fundraising campaign is being managed by James Davidson, a parent of one of the team members.  All funds raised and then withdrawn from GoFundMe as part of this campaign will be paid to the robotics team by personal check.

Winning the award also earned us a place at "Worlds", the 2019 FIRST Championship in Detroit, Michigan, USA, to be held from April 24-27, 2019. Making it to "Worlds" was like a dream come true!

Now we need your help with registration fees, airfare, hotel rooms, van rental and other expenses related to our travel to and from Detroit and our participation in the 2019 FIRST Championship. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. They say that many hands make light work. We are hoping that many small contributions will help us reach our fundraising goal and light the way for us to travel to Detroit. Thank you so much for reading about our team's journey so far this year and for any help you can offer. We can't wait to complete at Worlds! All donations up to our fundraising goal will go toward our expenses related to our participation in the 2019 FIRST Championship.  Any donations we may receive beyond our fundraising goals will help us to buy parts and supplies for the 2019-2020 season.
