Donation protected
We are NextGen - Team 12528.
We are so honored to have qualified to participate in the FIRST World Championship in Detroit, Michigan, April 25-28.

We would like to kindly ask you for financial support. It is through sponsorships and grants from friends, families and business partners, that our robotics team is given the opportunity to take part in this competition and spread FIRST principles throughout the community.

The costs for our team to attend the World Championships will be over $6000 including registration fees, tranportation costs, food and housing.

Can you help?
Please donate if you can.
Our Story:

We are a rookie FIRST Robotics FTC team from Apple Valley, Minnesota, made up of friends with a combined 26 years of FIRST experience.

Our team name reflects three parts of our team mission:
to build our technology and team skills,
to share what we learn and help build the next generation, and
to have FUN along the way!

FIRST - For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology - is an organization that promotes teamwork and collaboration amongst aspiring engineers. This program encourages students to explore science and technology through interaction in the community and robotics competitions.

Outreach Goals:
Spread the values of FIRST to our community.
Our initial goal  was 100 hours of outreach before our first competition in November.

We surpassed our goal!

• We completed 320 hours by the State Tournament
• We completed 360 hours by the North Super Regional Championship (NSR).

For a team of only five people, that is A LOT of volunteer hours.

Outreach Highlights:

•Volunteering and judging at multiple FIRST events this year!

•Sharing FIRST at the Minnesota State Fair and Slice of Shoreview.

•Visiting Fairview Ridges hospital and trying out "robotic assisted surgery".

•Meeting engineers from UTC Aerospace, Uponor, and Stratasys.

Thanks so much for reading our story. Please consider supporting our team as we advance to worlds.

We want you to know that we value your support and encouragement so very much!
