Jay Holt's fight- multiple myeloma

My sister Kim, my wife Sacha and I would like to start a fundraising page for my father Jay Holt. As many of you know Jay has had a pretty rough year. In January he was diagnosed with a blood clot the length of his leg which put him in the hospital and out of work for five months. In May he went to the hospital with chest pains thinking the blood clot had traveled to his lung and the scan showed six cancerous lesions on his ribs which was diagnosed as multiple myeloma a cancer of the bone marrow. He has been on three chemos in a clinical study at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute ever since. beginning on September 3rd he will start heavy duty doses of chemotherapy to kill the myeloma cells but will also take his immune system down to zero.He will be prepping for a stem cell transplant to take place on  sept 23rd. He will be hospitalized  from sept 20th  until mid October or whenever his immune system is strong enough. He will then recover at home with many safety precautions to not pick up any bacteria. He will only be allowed to be outdoors for short amounts of time and in his own sterilized home.  No stores ,restaurants, BAKERIES etc.... No take out or bought foods only home cooked meals. No flowers or gift baskets can be sent. My mother will be taking a leave of absence from her job during this time to be the caregiver to my dad.
My dad has been a friend and coach to many over the years and I would like to ask everyone who can to make a donation to help alleviate the financial burden on my parents.
