Help Stella get her equipment back




Hello beautiful souls!  I want to share something very important to me with you.  On March 3rd, I announced that I would begin teaching dj lessons to the young people as well as taking on dj-ing as a full time gig.  But on March 15th at 1:45am, life gave me new challenges to face.  I had my dj equipment stolen from me as I was loading them into my car at the end of a gig.  This particular piece of equipment was a practically brand new Pioneer DJM-S9 and it was purchased last April.  I shared it with two of my dj partners, Evan (e-Love) and Jerome (Madlamb) at Bump 'N Grind Dance Party in Long Beach.  We saved up a portion of our B&G earnings for almost a year to buy that mixer.

  

As some of you might know, I am volunteering my time with a couple of community oriented activies such as being on the advisory board for a non-profit organization called Peace Over Violence as well as donating my time as a dj instructor for a non-profit organization called Hip Hop Anywhere that provides free classes to inner city kids and teens this coming summer.  Making a full time transition into dj-ing as a career along with being a dj instructor at the moment has me transitioning from home to home, living in the guest rooms and sofas of my generous friends where and when I can.  Having my equipment stolen from me has me stopped in my game temporarily, but not for long.  



This gofundme project is to raise money to buy another Pioneer DJM-S9 mixer and carrying case (as it was stolen in the rolling flight case).  The mixer retail value is $1700 and the rolling flight case value is $150.  My goal is to raise $2000 (to cover tax) so that I can get back into action and continue to be a channel of inspirational through creative self-expression.  With your donation and by sharing this post you are helping me make a positive impact to the young people through learning creative self-expression as well as helping me continue to put on dope events for all to enjoy.
