Lucky's CT Scan

Donation protected
Lucky was born September 16, 2016 on our farm in Campbellsville, KY.  Lucky isnt't just any calf, she was born with two faces.  She has four eyes, two noses, and two mouths.  Her middle two eyes share a socket, but they did not have any pigment or eye lid.   Lucky has beaten many odds.  She is now 87 days old.  It is believed that the longest living two-faced calf lived 40 days.  With continous care and unfailing love, Lucky is thriving.  Lucky was also born with cleft palates and this is where she struggles.  Lucky is trying to eat hay, but it becomes stuck inher palates and nostrils.  Lucky is currently taking a bottle three times a day.  She is giving a dry powered milk with a cup of ground feed supplement.  Lucky is maintaing her weight and growing slowly.  The Univeristy of Illinois has agreed to complete a CT Scan the week of January 9, 2017 to see if her palates are operable.   The cost of the scan will be approximately $500.   Stan, our four girls, and I love Lucky very much.  We are very blessed and thankful for God blessing us with such as extrodinary animal.   We are truly grateful for your prayers and support that your have already extended.
Thank You,
