Who will benefit:
All of the families and children we serve at the Family Support Center of Ogden will benefit from having a safe and fun outdoor space. It is beneficial for children to experience a change of scenery and to be active in indoor and outdoor play. We want to provide the children we serve with an outdoor play space that they look forward to playing in. We also want the parents we serve and support to feel comfortable with the different spaces we have to offer their children while they are in our care.
What funds will be used for:
The funds raised will be go directly to create and/or enhance a safe, nurturing, and fun outdoor play space at the Family Support Center of Ogden. We are in need of basic landscaping needs followed by safe and fun play equipment.
Explain how soon you need the funds:
Our goal is to have this outdoor play place established and ready to be used by Summer time.
What the support will mean to us:
Having this support will not only touch the hearts of our staff, but more importantly the families we serve. We want to continue to be a supporting community agency offering many resources to the families we serve. Having this space will enhance the safe haven we currently offer the children we serve. It is healthy and beneficial for children to explore safe environments, exercise, and be allowed to further development their various motor skills. Having this support will allow us to extend more fun, creative, exploratory ways to the children and families we serve.

We would be beyond grateful to have funds raised that we can use towards this much needed space. We have been in need of a clean, safe, and fun outdoor space for several years. Having this space will enhance our facility and allow us to offer more options to the children while they are in our care. It will provide assurance for the parents, helping them to know we change up the children’s environment, allow them to explore safely, and that we promote a healthy lifestyle.
