It's been a dream of ours for over 10 years now to get back on the missions field. However as years rolled by and our family grew we knew it wasn't time until God gave us the green light. A very green light.

About a year ago we both felt that YWAM Wollongong popped up on the radar during a prayer time. The base is heavily focussed on media and strategic missions, which are two of our big passions. For this past year we have investigated the option of our family of 6 hitting the mission field with Youth With A Mission All Generations DTS.
I read a quote, divinely stumbled upon, during this time that said "God doesn't call the prepared, He prepares the called." We had been called. And we also felt very unprepared! However, through much prayer and counsel we felt the biggest thing to do was be obedient to His voice.
So here we are (green light)...ready to live in close community with new faces and tiny spaces! Yet we are so excited to see what the Lord is going to do with our family over these five months!
We would love for you to partner with us on this mission whether it be financial, prayer or physical support.
This page is one way to help us reach some of the financial goals we have during the next five months.
Our school runs from April 9th - August 31st 2018.
- Three months on base ($9150 for all 6 of us for accommodation, food and schooling)
- Two months in the field ($7000 for all of us plus flights which would be approx $6000-8000).
- There will also be basic living expenses such as school fees for Izzy and Judah, extra necessities like diapers and baby needs, gas for the car etc. We have totalled these up to be approximately $2000 for the three month lecture phase in Wollongong.
Total all up is just under $30,000. We are working hard to earn $15,000 ourselves. Please keep us in prayer that Kevin will indeed have the work, but also, that he'll stay very strong and healthy in order to keep it up. We are in need of a miricle really, as even if we work super hard we'll be somewhere in the range of $15,000 short. That where you might be able to help. We would love your help in raising this other half. Through prayer, donations and sharing with others, we hope to be successful.
We know this is a journey that cannot be done by one family alone . We have always believed in the power of community and we would love this next leg of the journey to be experienced with all of you.
