Friends of Lombok Earthquake Relief

I (Lucy) am raising money on behalf of Stuart (my partner)'s parent's family run charity called 'Friends of Lombok'. Each year, the Friends of Lombok team head over to Lombok with money they have collected through fundraisers, and assist villages with what they need the most. Usually, they help to build playgrounds in schools, roofs, buy learning supplies and equipment for the children, and clothes.

I was fortunate enough to travel to Lombok a few years ago and witness the fantastic work that they do. In the time they have spent there, they have made many friends with the beautiful local people. Sadly, many of their friends in Lombok have been directly affected by recent earthquakes. Thankfully, none of them have been injured, however many have lost everything. Houses have been destroyed, no power to villages, roads only passable by motor bike and limited supplies of food and more importantly water. 

I am asking for donations on behalf of the FOL team, to assist with providing water, food and tarps to the villages. This is what they need immediately. The remaining funds will be used to help them rebuild their homes. Please rest assured in knowing that your donation will help out our dear friends so much.

The money raised in this campaign will be deposited into my bank account. From there, I will transfer 100% of the funds directly to our friends in Lombok via online banking. Fortunately, their bank has not been affected by the earthquake so we know they will receive the funds within 48 hours of the transfer being made.
