Friends of Johnny Kaw

Manhattan's own hometown hero! Johnny Kaw is about to leap into the future. A roadside Colossus and attraction that is going to draw new generations to see what it's all about and spend some family time in the park. Local grassroots effort of a group of 15 citizens is underway to renovate the area around Johnny and provide a gathering place. Come take a family photo or a selfie with Johnny!  A total project cost of $230,000 funded with donations from the community and no money from taxes. A new plaza area with handicapped accessibility so everyone can enjoy the rich history of Johnny's legendary exploits!

We are down to the last $52,000 needed to make this happen.  Your charitible donation is handled by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation and is tax exempt. Our goal is to complete the campaign before August to break ground this summer!
