Every kid, regardless of race, ethnicity or economic status deserves a chance to just be a kid. But in Southeast D.C., families are struggling to make ends meet, let alone sign their children up for vital after school activities.
Join Attack of the Comics in raising money for the Friends of Fort Stanton - a 100% volunteer based community program teaching kids 6-14 the value of teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership through the game of football!
Most families cannot afford the $100 fee to register the children to play so we are raising money for the registration fees for all ages, and to provide the kids with snacks/water, equipment throughout the season, and trophies at the end of the year! In this time of great division in our country, let's all come together to make an IMMEDIATE difference in these kids' lives. Please donate what you can and join us at the DC Drafthouse on Wednesday, September 13 at 8:30 p.m. for our comedy show fundraiser! Remember, Laughing Helps!
