Friend for life - Assistant dog

My 2 year old son Julian has a disability. He has spent most of his life in and around hospitals due to immunodeficiency and a congenital heart defect - he had open heart surgery last year and has had several operations this year with the possibility of more within 2018. We have been given an amazing opportunity for Julian to be matched with an assistant dog through a charity called 'dogs for kids with disabilities' An assistant dog will be able to help Julian through his everyday struggles, aniexties , hospital stays, medical test and constant appointments by being there for him. He will be able to calm and relax in difficult times through his love for dogs and feel safe through companionship. We are needing to raise $25,000 to go to 'dogs for kids with disabilities' to help raise and train Julian's future best friend and other dogs just like him.
