Help our Warrior Princess Freja get neuro treatment
The money raised will help funding Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Neuro Feedback and Stem Cell Therapy for our daughter who suffers from the effects of Perinatal Asphyxia.
Our daughter Freja was born on March 11th, 2017. The birth became very complicated due to some serious mistakes and lack of attention from the staff at the hospital. This led to Asphyxia during an extended period of time, which resulted in resuscitation attempts for more than 30 minutes. We spent almost one month at the hospital together with Freja when she was fighting for her life. She was incredibly strong and even though the odds were against her she did not give up, and today she can breathe and eat on her own.
We don’t know exactly how her brain damage will effect her in the future but she has already been diagnosed with HIE, Spastic quadruple Cerebral Palsy 4/5, Microcephaly, Epilepsy, Hip dysplasia and CVI due to the Hypoxia.
For the moment, we are visiting the hospital for habilitation and different checkups almost every week, and as any other parent we are optimistic and believe our daughter’s health can improve with proper treatment.
We have decided to try:
-Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
-Neuro Feedback
-Stem cell Therapy
Non of these is offered in Sweden and therefore we have to look abroad to get it. However, this treatments are not cheap and we need financial help to cover the expenses.
Every single penny will go to Freja's treatment and the sooner we can start it, the better are her chances for a good recovery.
