Free From Chains

This girl has been living her life at the end of short chain 24/7 for who knows how long. Stuck next to a fence between auto shops with barely enough chain to let her lay down without choking. Surviving off the water in a bucket and food handouts frpm the guys at the shops, she wanted nothing more than human attention! 
   On May 15th ,the right person gave her some of that attention and decided that this was no life for this wiggly sweet dog. The owner was contacted and agreed to surrender her to a better life. For 2 days we networked her everywhere we could, but as is typical in Houston, the rescues are overrun, there are no fosters to be found and the shelters here are NOT no kill. Most pit bulls sadly do not come back out once they go in.
So without a solid plan in place we rescued her anyway and brought her here with us. We still have no rescue backing for thinfs like food, supplies and vetting, and as this is our 8th dog, it's getting a little tough to keep up with it all. We are still networking. Searching for a rescue to help, a foster who has room or even better, her happily ever after! If you are willing to help, both she and we would be grateful.
