My name is Colton Lee O'Neal and I have begun the process of building and moving into a school bus. Yes. A school bus. I want to build a small footprint, easy to manage life for myself, and I think innovative housing decisions are a big first step.
Living in a "skoolie" or tiny house in a schoo bus will give me the oppourtunity to examine what I really need in life, and how much I do not.
I dont want a lot of money in life. I want to get to a place where I do not need the things money would buy me. Living under 300 ft. sq is a start.
My Budget:
I have lined up 5,000+ dollars to start the project, it is due to arrive at the end of January. However, the bus I was to buy is only available for a week. I would be at a huge loss if I did not act quickly.
FOUND A DEAL I CANT PASS UP
While prospecting for buses, I was given a deal hard to refuse. The seller needs cash, and has given me the price of 1500 dollars on the condition that I get it by next weekend. (1/5/2018)
A total of 1500 dollars will buy me the bus to begin my home! Estimated 100x less expensive than the average home in my town.
The bus has already been gutted for purposes of converting to an RV or home.
