Fred-Este Artist Exchange Program

Fredericksburg-Este Association is raising money to fund its first artist exchange to send Neal Reed to Este, Italy
.
This artist exchange program is a joint endeavor between the Fredericksburg-Este Association and LibertyTown Arts Studio.
 
The purpose is to raise funds to help defray the expenses of the trip for Neal Reed, the artist selected as the first participant in the program. The trip is scheduled from September 28 through October 11, 2016.
 
Reed will work alongside Este master potter Alfredo Dal Santo, who is having a major retrospective show during September and October, 2016.

Donors to the fund who contribute at up to $50 will be eligible for a chance to win a Neal Reed original piece of stoneware. Donors who contribute at the $51+ level will be eligible for a larger stoneware Neal Reed piece.

A reception for Neal and a showing of his work will be held at LibertyTown Arts Studio, on Saturday, November 5, from 5-7 PM. During the reception, Neal will share insights about his experiences from his trip. The drawing for the Neal Reed stoneware pieces will be held at the reception.
