Freda - Forever in Our Hearts!

Jim & Freda Treat have been treasured members of our Bluebonnet Miata Club for many, many years. Freda and Jimbo met long before many of us came to know them as the fun-loving couple that always welcomed new Miata Enthusiasts into the Bluebonnet Miata Club.  Theirs is a story like many, they met through work and after several attempts, Jimbo was able to entice Freda to go out on a date.  The rest is history.  Freda liked to laugh, drink wine and as Jimbo’s passenger, spent a lot of time screaming, “Ooooiiiiyyyy!”  Courageous enough to sky dive, Freda was the Ying to Jimbo’s Yang, always with recollections of funny stories or jokes she’d heard.  Beside the fun loving nature many of us knew, Freda was an amazing person, often caring for others.   We will miss her smile, her laughter and her presence. Freda passed away August 20th and her last wishes were for her ashes to be spread in one of her favorite places on earth - Ouray Colorado.  We would like to help Jimbo do this. All the funds collected will be given to Jimbo to pay for his travel expenses to Ouray Colorado.  Thank you from the Bluebonnet Miata Club!
