Fred Martin- Memorial Costs (flights for family)

We said goodbye to Pastor Fred Martin this week. The outpouring of love shared with his family has been overwhelming and encouraging beyond their expectations. It has been made abundantly clear that he was loved and cherished by every one he ever served in ministry.
Many have asked if there’s any way they can help the family - from meals and cleaning, or help with transportation and lodging. One of the most important things for Becky and her kids is to get all of Fred’s grandchildren together to celebrate his life at a funeral in Boise. There are thirteen in Alaska and three in California, plus one in the UK, so the costs will be significant. We are joining with them by asking for help with travel and funeral costs.
We’ve set a goal of $10,000 which will likely be more than enough to cover travel and funeral expenses. Any funds unused will be donated to Healthcare Chaplains Ministry Association, the non-profit Fred worked under, to help other chaplains like him encourage and serve the sick and dying for many years to come.
The family is so grateful to you for your help in bringing them together to say goodbye to their beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
