Fran's Chair Lift Fund

Hello everyone! If this is your first time hearing my story, thank you for taking the time to listen. I have been wanting to update my story for a while. My name is Francine. I am 43-years old. I was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 3 years ago. With no family history of this you can imagine my surprise when they finally got a diagnosis as to why my Cpk enzyme was elevating. I still had all my strength at that time. I have been a Veterinary Technician since 1988 so I have led a very physical life until now. You can imagine my frustration when the things that were once easy to do are now not so easy. Two months ago we were able to sell our 3rd floor condo and move into a house. However there are still stairs and they too are getting hard for me to climb on a daily basis. I am now in need of a stair lift. We have been doing a lot of research on different companies and finally found once that offered a decent price. So far many generous people have already donated and I have almost $4000 raised to put towards the chair lift. I need another $4900. PLEASE help if you can! Spread the word. Neither my Health Ins. Co. nor MDA will help financially.
