Frank Mahoney - Kidney Cancer Research Foundation

In loving memory of Frank Mahoney and his battle with Kidney Cancer, we are working to raise money in support of Dr. David McDermott’s Kidney Cancer Research Fund of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. 

Dr. McDermott and his team are true leaders in kidney cancer research and experts in the development of innovative immunotherapies, which enhance the body's immune response in order to fight cancer.  Coupled with Frank's fighting spirit, their strides thus far helped turn Frank's difficult prognosis into 7 additional, precious years.  Dr. McDermott's research is crucial in continuing to combat this horrible disease and in helping change the future for all those affected.

Alongside fundraising, Frank's close friends and family are training to complete the Cape Cod Marathon this October in his honor.  Frank had a love for running and the outdoors, and this was a race he had hoped to accomplish.
