Per il quarto anno consecutivo, il liceo Foscarini di Venezia ospiterà l’evento FOSCAMUN 2017, durante la prima settimana di marzo. Il nome “Foscamun” deriva da Foscarini, il nostro liceo e MUN, Module United Nations, ovvero una simulazione delle Nazioni Unite.
Per tre giorni di dibattiti (10-11-12 marzo), preceduti da una cerimonia d’apertura in cui il segretario generale darà il via al progetto, i delegati, studenti provenienti da tutto il mondo, avranno la possibilità di rappresentare la posizione e gli ideali dello stato a cui saranno assegnati all’interno delle commissioni, che quest’anno saranno ben otto: DISC, UNODC, UNICEF, UNHRC, WHO, WFP, UNEP e UNESCO, quest’ultima sarà tenuta in lingua francese. Ognuna di esse sarà costituita da un gruppo di delegati supervisionati da un presidente, un vicepresidente e un moderatore, anch’essi studenti.
Il progetto Foscamun offre la possibilità a tutti i ragazzi che vi parteciperanno, di agire e relazionarsi tra loro come veri diplomatici delle Nazioni Unite, in una delle città più belle del mondo: Venezia.

As already done in the last four years, during three days of debates, all the delegates, students from all over the world, are going to represent the positions and the ideals of the countries they are going to speak for.
At FOSCAMUN, there will be seven committees: DISC, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNHRC, WHO, WFP, UNEP; each with a group of delegates supported by a president, vice-president and moderator.
the 2017 edition of FOSCAMUN will have committees in english and possibly one in french.
In this project students have the chance to behave and face each other like real diplomats in a UN conference, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Venice.
