It breaks my heart to be asking for this support, because I am asking for you, our community, to step up and surround a family as they experience the loss of a bright, beautiful child who should never have been taken from us.
The weight of funeral costs, lost wages, is nothing compared to the toll of losing a son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, grandson...
No mother should outlive her child.

WHEN: Saturday November 7th from 3:00-6:00
The wake will be followed by a community gathering, with a special invite to Shama's friends and the young people of our community to celebrate Shama's light, share stories, laugh (because laughter is important to Shama), cry and support eachOther. Food will be shared as well.
WHERE: Mountainview Studio,
20 Mountainview Avenue in the center of Woodstock. Walking distance from the Green.
WHEN: Saturday November 7th from 6:30-9:00
