Foreverfamily's 2018 5K4KIDS Race

Foreverfamily , formerly Aid to Children of Imprisoned Mothers (AIM), is a nonprofit community-based agency that addresses the critical needs of children of incarcerated mothers and fathers and their families.  Created in 1987, Foreverfamily uses a unique intergenerational approach to lessen the impact of the parent’s incarceration on family relationships through the provision of a variety of services to children and family members.

Foreverfamily’s Board of Directors is hosting 5K4KIDS, a 5K and one mile Fun Run, on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Fourth Ward Park to raise the funds necessary to continue offering service to Atlanta children of incarcerated parents and their families, allowing 200 youth yearly to participate in monthly trips to visit their incarcerated parent, quarterly enrichment activities, college and career readiness and entrepreneurial projects.
