20 ACRES! Wow, ok, I made a GoFundMe, hoping that just MAYBE, something would magically happen, and it did! (Well, not financially, but logistically, with the house) We found a house! And put in an offer and GOT IT! We need to get our sad dogs out into the country! I presented it as though it were our dogs crying out to the universe for help, but I will advocate for myself as a human now!
(Ok humanity! I’m asking please, just $5 here, $10 there, I know effort can manifest reality so please, heck, $3! Can some people just start pitching in $3!) $3? Please?!
Wow, okay, we found 20 acres and a sturdy farmhouse with good foundation outbuildings! We made it offer, she ACCEPTED IT, and has been great working with us as things have hiccups. CHECK OUT THE PROPERTY! IT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Like wow, its everything we want. Closing costs are getting to the point where actual CA$H money on HAND is going to be the closing factor. We went from 5/6K to 10/11K and now it just went up again. So, um, help? Please? I don't know what else to do and this is what I did last time, so maybe it will be a rally for this.

Update 1: My surgery! It was pushed back for crazy insurance reasons and it was awful! Had to appeal, we won! Weird story, but maybe for the best! My surgery is happening May 20th. Our son has to finish this school year also which goes until June 11ish.

Hi! We are Killinger and Nala, a 5 and 3-year old German Shepherds. We have so much to tell you but Siri hasn’t figured out bark yet. We will try to keep it short.
Our Forever Family, the Drakes, need our help in relocating to a Forever Home. They have had more than their fair share of ups and downs, (and downs, and more downs it seems) and we want to help raise something called “funds” (they have those plastic rectangle shopping cards so we aren’t sure of all the details, but apparently you can only use it so many times before there is no “money?”). Anyways, we heard the Little crying when the Brooke and Mark talked about maybe having to get us a Rehome, so we think they need it soon!
DISCLAIMER: Our goal is to homestead these twenty acres and have Mark assigned with Special Projects Group with Findorff because of the location, perfect for everyone. So much potential here, just yay! Young family starting out. It will be so fun!
The Mark is the Leader of our Pack. It is his birthday this month! (Nala was a birthday gift!) The Brooke is the one who stays home and takes the most care of us. Thing is, she fell at an abandoned Quartz Quarry collecting crystals, and she broke both her legs. She only has two of them instead of four so this makes it so she can’t walk us, or to run anymore, and we can’t even play because we might knock her down.
They also had something they call a SURPRISE! even though it’s just another baby, so she is super busy and crazy. Or was it crazy busy? No, the Mark said she is crazy, that has to be right…
It really sucks for all of us. We were supposed to get our Home in the Country a few years ago, but something called Life happened, so we still live in Town. We have been getting more and more sad for 19 months. We like to jump around and play! We do NOT like to lay around and sit still. But lately, we can’t do anything!
Now, the Brooke has to have MORE “surgery” for her “nonunion” fracture. That's a whole other story, we cant touch her after her surgery and we don't have any land to go run around on! She cant walk us anymore. No parks. So sad.
We do know that our Humans said we need a Home out in the Country ASAP or we would have to Rehome, but isn’t going to a new home in the country rehoming? We don’t know, they seem sad about it but it sounds GREAT! They worry about us being happy so much…
So we would like your help in Rehoming our humans. They love us so much and worry about our mental and physical health and say we need land to run on since the Brooke hasn’t been able to. She’s going to have to practice out her fixed legs too after (2) more surgeries, so it would be awesome to have a place to walk around!
Our Humans have a list of things they need to do to Rehome . They have to fix some credit, fix our Jeep so we can go on RIDES again, hire people to walk us when the Mark is not home, lots of things. Even little things like new Chew Toys help keep us happy right now which is all they want. We would be so happy too! We would lick you all over and be so excited and bark!
Please help our Forever Humans. When they are happy, we are happy, and when we are happy, they are happy too! We really like them and need them just as much as they need us.
