In April 2016, Maria Clara won a Bronze Medal in the "Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition» of New York and received her first international ballet contract: Apprentice in the Ballet of the "CENTRO DEL CONOCIMIENTO" in Posadas, Misiones, Argentina (http://balletmisiones.com/index.html ).
Maria Clara needs our help to raise the money required to purchase the air ticket, rent an apartment, and self-sustain during two months until she can start her apprenticeship.
Maria Clara has a wonderful and supportive family. Her parents, from Ecuador, have nine children between the ages of 24 and 5, all of whom are still students. Maria Clara is the fourth and she is 18 years old.
