For Jo, Harley, Jax and Rio

It's almost two years since Jo called me to tell me that Adam had taken his life.  I think of her, of Harley, Jax and Rio every single day and yet I know that ultimately she is on her own.  

Three kids is a lot.  

Three hearts that run their own beat , never needing the same thing at the same time.  

Two years ago, this was a post I never imagined I'd write.  Two years on and it's still totally shattering to re-read and re-post.  

But I am, because all I can wish is that small pockets of pain free time flutter into their lives every now and then.  Whether it's a game of Laser Tag, an extra large bucket of popcorn at the movies or a Hot chocolate in their favourite cafe, it might help, a little.
