Hello, I'm Hamish MacFarlane I have lived in the NT since 1964.

I enjoyed my childhood on a cattle station on the Roper River (Moroak) working with the local Aboriginal people in the bush.

I moved into Mataranka 1988 as a result of the BTEC program.

I sold up and moved to Bundaberg in 2012 as it became obvious that the economy being created by the powers that be was dangerous and unsustainable.

I returned in 2018 to help start a CrossFit Box in Katherine and was stunned at the changes that had occurred whilst being away.

I have worked in the Pastoral Industry; Mining Industry; the Tourism Industry;
Disability Care; Fitness Industry

Have served in Local Government, Regional Tourism Associations, Water Board, Land Care

Currently Vice President (Rural) of the 1Territory Party
