For Girls Playing Baseball!

Last summer, Aurora and her teammates on the Boston Slammers traveled to Rockford, IL for the Baseball for All National all-girls baseball (yes, you read that correctly, BASEBALL) tournament. These girls, after so many months of hard work, managed to go undefeated, winning all 5 of their games and bringing home the BFA 11U NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Now it is time to send these talented, determined young ladies back to Rockford for this year's tournament. Nationals will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League. Over 250 girls are expected to participate from around the world.
In addition to Aurora and what is now our 13u team, we've added new 11u and 18u teams to the Boston Slammers! They've already started their season by practicing regularly indoors since December, but they can't get to Rockford without your help! All fundraising is being pooled to help all the girls on the team make the trip.
Please share this and consider making a donation of any size to help these girls live their very achievable dreams. Help them overcome the indifference they encounter because they happen to be girls playing a typically "boys" sport. Help them continue playing baseball.
