Dear All who are reading....
I am aware that everyone of us has their own story to tell. Some of them are funny, some are sad, some with hint of extraordinary. We are all waiting for the stories with happy endings despite obstacles that are high like Mount Everest. We do hope this story will be one of them. Only with a little bit of sadness and madness but with a very Big Fat Happy ending as this is a story of our Dear Friend Agnieszka Kochanowicz.
On the 18th of September this year she was diagnosed with a malignant tumour.
Diagnosis came upon her like a tornado, unexpected and devastating, like always, at a wrong time and wrong doorsteps. Since then she has had lots of scans and other tests at the hospital.
The doctors are planning stoma bag at first, then radio and chemo therapy to shrink the cancer and then an operation to cut it out as at the moment it is too large. Everything is a big 'if’. If it shrinks.... it’s like every day is defined by 'if’.
However, Agnieszka’s battle for her life is a particularly hard struggle, considering the fact that for 35 years she has been fighting severe depression. Now she has two monsters to face. She is single, but she is not alone. Apart from her friends, she has a lovely family of 4 pets: one cat and three dogs. They all provide a lot of comfort and laughter, which is so needed.
As her friends, we would like to take off her shoulders at least one problem....money, so that she could afford her bills and be able to have the treatment; so that she would have the tools to keep fighting.
Every help, big or small, will be highly appreciated and also will help us to motivate her to believe in positive outcome.
Thank you for your help and generosity.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for caring.

Każda pomoc, mała i duża, będzie wysoko ceniona.
