Football supporters rally for Joe

Donation protected
I am sending out a message to all football/ soccer players, sports fans and supporters. Some of you may have had a nasty football or sporting injury or have a loved one who has had an injury and know about the long road to recovery.

Our son Joe Crook who is 26 had a football injury last night playing football for his team Kwinana FC in Perth WA. He sustained what can only be called a “dirty tackle” from the opposition resulting in an open fracture of his right fib and tib. He was blue lighted to Royal
Perth Hospital and is awaiting surgery this morning. Despite all this he doesn’t complain and just gets on with it.

Joe loves football and is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter and proud of his Liverpool family roots.  The thing is, he didn’t really want to play as it was a late match and as a self employed carpenter he could have worked a bit extra. But he is loyal and committed and despite his dodgy hip (that’s another story) plays football and suffers afterwards.

Joe is going to be out of action for at least 2 months, providing all goes well, hard for anyone but as a self employed carpenter even harder. He has a beautiful family, partner and new baby and so any support would be so very much appreciated.

Thank you to all
