Foot surgery for Thomas

First off, thank you for clicking the link. Let me tell you what's going on here. I have injured my left ankle pretty severely in a series of stair-walking and athletic-related injuries. It requires surgery to repair a ligament on the outer top of the foot, there's also a load of arthritis and a bursitis inside the ankle that the doctor will be repairing arthroscopically.  

Long story short, that's expensive, and will put me out of work for a week on top of the $1500 in bills that have rolled in for this thing. I'm asking for help, a thing that I rarely do, in the hopes that you can find a few bucks to help keep the bills at bay and to fund this repair. 

I'll end up in a full cast, transitioning to a knee scooter and boot after several weeks. When I return to the fencing field, when I run a 5k one day, it will be because you all made it happen, and I won't forget that.

The surgery is Tuesday the 30th, so I'm pretty jammed here. Anything helps. I'll also need a bit of help getting around and not going stir-crazy in isolation, if people want to come visit.
