Food Security in Longido, Tanzania

I spent 4 months in Tanzania during my undergrad years at UVM. I was welcomed so quickly into Massai villages where I was housed and fed as if I was family. The Massai are struggling with serious drought conditions this year. I am working with my friend and translator while studying in Elangatatadapesh, Mike Ole Mokoro. He works for Ilkiosongo Pastoralist Initittiave and has secured some food and cooking oil through personal contributions. I am hoping to help raise some money to purchase more maize and cooking oil as well as transportation to the villages for this food. Thank you in advance for your support!
