A little information of why I host this event:
For me this really hits home, as I'm sure it does for others too. Does not matter if it's family, friends, or even a co-worker. Suicide is a tough subject.
When I was 17 my dad took his own life. I didn't understand at the time but I managed to learn to cope with the pain. I was blessed with a best friend who unfortunantly had to deal with the same senerio when we were 11.
After managing to deal with the pain and move forward from both different losses, I then was 20 years old and, I again witnessed another loss. My grandfather had taken his own life. After dealing with the pain and suffering of these tragic events I felt that it was only right I found a way to help make a difference. Since 2014 I have been hosting "Facials againist suicide" It has been such a inspiring, and eventful ride. We have raised around $5000 total to go towards Michigan Association for Suicide Prevention. Which is organization that helps not only victims of suicide, but also the loved ones left behind. Please help fight suicide awareness and donate to this cause.
