Papa Bears Restaurant Exhaust Fund

My name is Robin McElfish I am the Owner of PapaBears Restaurant. It is with a very heavy heart that I come to you and ask for help.
We have been told by Muskegon County Fire Chief that our exhaust system is not UL 300 compliant. For those of you, like me who have no clue what that means,basically the chemicals for my fire suppressant are no longer useful against all of the improved oils that we have been using for deep frying etc.
He has told me that if we do not comply, his only option is to shut the restaurant down. And believe me he will!
This year has really been a struggle for the restaurant we have had so many problems with or eqiuiptment and various other things there is no backup monies for this expense.
I cannot even imagine what my life would be like if Papa Bears had to close because of this. I have made so many friends thru the years who are now my family and my only thoughts were for all of you!
How could we do our food drives, our thanksgiving dinners for anyone who had no where to go and our buying for families in need at Christmas or at anytime. If it wasn't for all of you we could not do these things.
I am asking for help with this to continue our good will to the community. To my family and friends thank you for all of your support thru the 14 wonderful years that I have owned Papa Bears I can not do this without you
