Last year, I started a podcast called Florida Action Cast to let Sunshine Staters shell-shocked by Donald Trump’s victory know how to get more civically and politically engaged while having some fun along the way.
In 10 short months, I've had as my guests national civil rights leader DeRay Mckesson, the Executive Director of Ruth's List Florida, an ice cream entrepreneur, elected officials, journalists, comedians, and more. I’ve had thousands of downloads, hundreds of listeners, many live shows, and countless laughs.
In 2018, I am taking Florida Action Cast across the state, adding new podcast offerings, reaching new audiences, and growing the show into a sustainable business.
To do this, I need your help. I'm raising $22,000 for all the expenses--travel, lodging, equipment, graphic design, web hosting, etc--associated with expansion.
