Flood relief for AVH Employees Imelda 2019

Donation protected
Imelda, which was officially classified as a tropical depression, surprised residents in the greater Beaumont area in the early hours of Thursday, September 19th. What was supposed to be a rain event bringing 6-10 inches of rain resulted in a system that brought 30-40 inches of rain in a 24- hour period. Significant flash flooding led to impassable streets and flooding of homes and businesses throughout  the region. The American Valve & Hydrant facility did not sustain any damage, but the homes of eighteen employees did, some of whom were also affected by tropical storm Harvey in 2017.

Funds are being collected by the AVH Committee of Concern to assist those employees with expenses associated with the weather event. Your support is greatly appreciated.
