Flare Oaks Rescue -Winter is coming

Chris and I try to cover as much as we can for the animals here but with winter coming we're facing some large expenses and reaching out for help! We have fall vaccines/wellness checks for all the animals in October,  a new goat shed for Larry and Kiwi and the cost of 500 bales of hay to feed everyone through the cold months. The total for just these three expenses comes to $7,500! Every penny goes towards the care of the animals, I do not take a salary, we don't have any paid help the only paid humans are the vets and farrier.  From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for following the animals stories, believing in our mission and helping support the animals! 

Flare Oaks Rescue 501(c)(3) provides a safe place for abandoned farm animals to recover, heal, learn humans can be trusted and one day be welcomed into a forever family. Helping animals experience the respect and freedom they deserve and educating people along the way.

We could not do this without the donations from supporters. Every donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated and every penny goes directly to the rescue and care of the animals here. Basic care includes vets and farrier visits, grain, hay, bedding, fencing, shelter maintenance and all the time it takes to care for each animal daily. We want to provide the basics: food, water, shelter but we also want to go above the basics and make sure they are loved, brushed, have toys and cuddles that their previous life didn’t offer or allow. Donations are the only way we can do any of this. Thank you!
