Fixing Her Crown - Jolene & Tarra Quinn

Tarra Quinn's 4-month-old daughter, baby Jolene will be getting a baby helmet on May 9th. After getting a CT Scan to ensure her brain was developing on track, it was determined that helmet therapy (see last paragraph for description) would be the next best step for her. 

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover the cost of the helmet, the fitting, or the therapy associated with it. The total cost amounts to $2500 and must be paid entirely out of pocket. After all the things this precious mama, Tarra Quinn, has been through, we want to help out this sweet family with the costs.

Helmet therapy, or the use of a cranial orthosis, is a type of treatment prescribed for infants to help correct the baby's skull shape. Helmets work by directing growth from the flat spot, but they must be worn during the time when the skull (and therefore the brain) is actively growing. Also, Chrissy Teigen's baby has one so Jolene is part of a special club now!
