First Floor Space fund raiser!

First Floor Space is an artist-led community space based in the Whitgift Centre, we are part of the Croydon Arts Store and we aim to engage our community in meaningful arts activities.

Since we opened 18 months ago, we have achieved this through our 3 primary activities; the Open Studio, Residency Programme and Community Partnership Workshops have developed through what we identified to be the key needs of our community.

We believe in the holistic value of creativity, especially its power to foster wellness in people, this is a core part of the Open Studio.

The space benefits the whole community and has become an art sanctuary for many. We welcome everyone with open arms and often have a very diverse range of people at our space, it has really become something so special and we want to keep it alive!

We have managed to keep our space going through the generous help of volunteers and grants from local organisations, but in order to keep it running and thriving, we need your help!

Any donations small or big will be of huge help to us and to the community, and will go towards  art materials, running costs, new storage facilities and of course to help all of our creative people to have a safe and vibrant space to make art!

We are so proud of First Floor Space and what it has achieved so far, and so grateful for everyone that has helped make the space a success. Lets keep First floor Space going and help our creative community to thrive.
