Paola Acosta is a senior at San Jose State University, majoring in Advertising and minoring in Aviation Operations.
She first became interested in flying at the age of 15 when she presented on pioneer Aviatrix, Bessie Coleman.
At the beginning of her freshman year in college, she noticed the lack of gender and cultural diversity in all of her aviation classes.
As a result, she became interested in championing women’s interest and participation in the Aviation industry.

Her career goal is to unite her passion for advertising and her love of flying.

The funds raised will go directly toward three flight lessons at AeroDynamic Aviation in San Jose.
