THE FIREY STRING SISTAS! - Recording Campaign


FIREY STRING SISTAS! is an independent and self contained ensemble of stellar musicians that celebrate the power, beauty and creativity of women. Our mission is to inspire, uplift and motivate our audiences to participate with us in making the world a more harmonious and humane place. We are committed to doing so through our recordings, educational activities and memorable performances that endure far beyond the stage.

Firey String Sistas!  founded by Nioka Workman, features  an array  of prolific female musicians including  Nioka  on cello, Marlene Rice on violin, vocalist/pianist Mala Waldron,   and drummer Camille Gainer -Jones.

After the release our debut CD, “That's What She Said” to critical acclaim, we have begun to record our sophomore album. Our  new musical collection  will include commentary on the current political climate in the United States, as well as a variety of personal and collective works, all thought provoking and immediately enjoyable. We would like to send a big shout-out of thanks and gratitude to our friends and family for assisting us. 

 
We are proud of what we have been able to accomplish so far, but we need your assistance to continue our mission of spreading inspiration through music. Costs of a quality,  independent group CD are daunting and we are requesting your financial support to help us to continue our work in the studio.

Our goal for this campaign is to reach the $8,000.00 mark. With your participation, we will  offset the formidable costs of recording, mixing , editing, and mastering, in addition to packaging and manufacturing the physical CD.
